I've just purchased a Sauna and Harvia 20 pro. If it fails at 2 year, i would be expecting a replacement or full refund. Shocking treatment. That or the amount of bad reviews to get them to change their act.

I instantly loved that you made the distinction of the pronunciation of "sauna" vs "sawna" (and what each of those structures might represent) without necessarily trying to draw attention to it. Very finnish of you! 🙂Well done. Great video!

Hello from Finland! What a pleasant surprise that you have thought so well the design features! I didn't find any mistakes in this video. Only one notice that comes in mind from my experience of building saunas: Air intake should be right above of kiuas (the heater) or on the wall near the ceiling and above the kiuas. Then the incoming fresh air mixes right into the heated air. I use 3litres/second airflow in family size (abt 4-5 cubic metres) Exhaust should be only from below the door and into shower room's exhaust. Then the sauna dries thoroughly from the ceiling to the floor after use and there is no cold barriers inside sauna, because these will affect wood panels to mold in longer time. Therefor if you have to use exhaust inside sauna, install it as low as possible

Here in Finland Pine and Spruce are the most traditional woods used in saunas. Heat treated black alder and aspen are also very commonly used today. I have spruce panels on my sauna's walls and the benches are heat treated pine. But overall you can use any wood you like. I hope this helped a bit

Bench should be so your toes are level or higher than kiuas stones. Otherwise your toes are frozen while your upper body sweats and you get a feeling like you are sick and in feever, you are not relaxing.

@@rafb145 casse82 is right. it's also pretty important what kind of wood is used. I have built saunas over 25 years, mainly in Japan, Hong Kong and eastern Russia and most common mistake at least in China and Japan is that they tend to burn Eucalyptus in them and it burns extremely hot. No matter what brand, the stove is fucked in less than a year. Been there, done that and bought the t-shirt... Greetings from Finland
